- Increase knowledge of blended sounds.
- Understand at which level and rate students in their grade-level should be reading to be considered “on grade level.”
- Assess student reading levels and fluency.
- Identify areas for growth in phonics and fluency for older children.
- Use strategies to build phonics and fluency in older children.
- Learn effective ways to monitor progress on identified target areas.
